New concepts from Philips : : The Apple Collection Everyday funnies at : : userfriendly.org Geekfind your job : : geekfinder.com Opera : : tried and tested the JAVA version on a Win 2000 machine. Opera 5.12 loads fast. Except for the corner advertising and for the US$39 price tag is all nice and smooth. Give it a try if you have time. An alternative to IE. Loads HTML very similar. I have not tested the browser on Flash or site with plug-ins. Thursday, July 12, 2001

...GT3 :: day 1 :: Rating: Good - Very good (rally - road) When you wait for something so long, the expectations are high. Rumors, rave reviews, spy photos? all made us drool? Soooo? So what will the game be like? What does it feel like? How good is it? The game is good. It is as good as any in the arcade? But [v] is slightly disappointed. Now don?t get me wrong. It is good! Very good. As good as the GP, but! But!! BUT!!! The nice thing is that the former GT2 users will feel at home at familiar tracks, all ?souped up? with the detailed graphics, down to the brake rotors and the drivers shaking inside of the cockpit. (Finally the rims in motion have realistic appearance and all the sponsors/car graphics are immaculate).
However, it?s the sky that still looks fake and the dust that doesn?t flow around the tires in the realistic matter. Rally is still missing the realism that the road circuits have. The rather clunky interface has been carried from the original version. Just enough of little quirky details to knock it down from the EXCELLENT ratting that everyone else is giving it. I think we need second opinion!!! Crew, come over = so we can re-evaluate. Wednesday, July 11, 2001

History : : Today I found and bought WIRED from September 1995.
The Fetish section still archived on the wired web site.
this thing will be a marvel, if it'll ever be released and properly supported. can't wait to get my hands on one of these! imagine : sitting in a coffee shop sketching something for a new product and sending it off to your client instantly, therefore securing another 50k contract! ahhh, utopic dreams... oh, well. btw, this is yet another good use of an excellent micro-processor : Crusoe. check their site for other notebooks powered by it. the sony picturebook is one of them.
