the sinclair c5.
it flopped.
somehow i think the new IT will follow very much in c5's footsteps. it already does, with it's high-profile inventor and his ideal of changing the automotive world and the hype surrounding it. who knows, maybe in 10 years we'll see it only on some enthusiast's webpage, just like the c5.

"IT" unveiled

Dean Kamen's highly anticipated invention, which has gone by the code words "Ginger" and "IT", is a two-wheeled, battery-powered transportation device that can carry a rider up to 12 miles per hour, requirers just five cents of electricity for a full day's charge, and is steered almost entirely by head movement.
