Olympic Hockey begins today.
Finland, who beat Canada in the bronze-game at the 1998 Nagano Olympics, starts against USA. Finland enters the games again with a team full of lesser names and missing Montreal Canadiens captain Saku Koivu, still recovering from cancer : : Canada starts against Sweden : : Canadians worry : : NHL-scorers aim for spotlight in Olympics : : Though I naturally root for the Finns, the Canadians have been my other big favourite since I was a kid. So as long as the game isn't Finland-Canada I'll be rooting for you Canadians.

i got a worm virus on the weekend; and another one tonight. thanks to handy PC-cillin the beast was Quarantined and then - later on, after reading on about it i trashed the file that was the infected host. it was a worthless *.pif document that i have received via e-mail. here is an article on WORM viruses from MIT magazine:
[ Software: Simulation tools fight new network parasites ]
