>posting party<
there was another one at luotsikatu on the
15th. we learned a few things from last time,
experimented on a few new directions.
The "separate but related" theme worked well.
(toronto to receive soon...)

"souvenirs from Finland"
I went through a store this week to look
around. Typical postcards, fur from Lapland,
a lot of wood. Being there you can only think of
the possibilities for creating something new...

space for project has arrived @ home
more on the _project to follow... :)

:: Moving materials
What I want to investigate further is more mixed contributions on one card.
('dissolving authorship' if you want a fancier sounding description)
Although some materials moved from one card to the other and people used other people's scraps thus inspiring others or somehow contributing to their work next time I'd like to try to write on a card someone else did or start a card someone else would complete.
All-out experimentation! Yay.

And more of the 'separate but related' -theme. Yay!

:: Veli
Velimir's popularity is no surprise, since 'veli' means brother in Finnish.

>torontohelsinki< party
another party on wednesday at luotsikatu.
The fact that we're sending city experiences / descriptions
makes it a lot easier to focus on one area.
The results are more consistent that way.

Some observations so far:
It was interesting last week to see how
people would choose who to address
their posts to. They've never met any of
the toronto group before, so it was more
about guessing what they'd be like.
(velimir's name was hot)

The other thing was to see how material
from one post would be used for another persons
creation. It might have been something cut-out,
a piece of a picture or even an idea. So the same toronto
receiver might get two different posts, but there's been something
cut out of one, which is pasted on the other.
So they're seperate, but related. :)
