adventures of mr. man : 2 : : today mr. man woke up around 8:30 and tried to drink some coffe. he was upset to find his new found girl away. her number is 000 353 and lives at www.skim.com - or used to for that reason. around 12:00 mr. man decided it would be good to head donwtown Toronto and have a look over the new office furniture designs happening at NeoCON. he got lost in the process... he was almost to be gone for good. so I asked frank : have you seen mr. man ? frank : i think you dropped him by the "powder coating guys" ! so I ran back and collected mr. man - explaining to the two men (the powder coating guys) that mr. man is a very important guest. mr. man and ms. girl - also known as number 000 353 @ www.skim.com were very happy to be together again. they are planing to travel back to Helskinki where great comfort awaits for both of them. the travel of mr. man through toronto has been briefly documented on film.

adventures of mr. man : 1 : : mr. man arrived one day with a scent of helsinki made capucino. along with a few photos to remind him of his city of heart. i thought i'd take him for a tour. he's traveling in toronto right now. in toronto he met ms. girl. he's very busy (talking) with ms. girl tonight. i hope they won't become - glued to one another.

No Connection : : [v] - I sent you a card as part of our ongoing project on Monday as a sort of answer to the squirrel-card I received from you earlier. The card includes a newspaper clipping from a Finnish tabloid with the text "What's the Worst that Could Happen?" and the text USA 2001 underneath it because the phrase is a movie title with the country of origin and the year the film was made underneath.
Just wanted to make sure that you (and the others since the card might be scanned on this city at some point) know that this of course in no way refers to Tuesday's events since the card was made and sent on Monday.

detailed neighbourhoods
we could research the surroundings of our homes and present it to the other city.
take two blocks by your home and make lists of what's there, describe it and take photos and then send it as some kind of presentation. That's still micro, but going very close, very detailed, probably revealing something more -- maybe not as much on a personal level, but on a general level from a personal POV. We could also include observations, regular things... It would be an interesting mix of personal and general. In presenting our neighbourhoods we'd have to solve how -- using puzzles, pop-ups: things discussed before.

city neighbourhoods
cities are often characterized by their neighbourhoods,
"Toronto is a city of interesting, distinct neighbourhoods.
Three substantial Chinatowns, two variations of Little Italy,
an east-Indian pocket, Greektown, and a map full of mixed cultures.
Historic pockets exist beside new developments."

The Helsinki Tourist Office advises to Find your own Helsinki but
i sent one of their electronic postcards to [d] just for fun.

so, from our micro descriptions it'd be interesting to go into detail
in our neighbourhoods to get an inside description of the city.
