urban office complexes
The one's I've seen outside the Helsinki and Toronto downtown core aren't being created for people outside of the building. Abandoned land sits unused until a developer is found. Owners in the Netherlands renting out their buildings to the public, but to a very limited number. They just have them living there to keep watch on the property. Its a better solution than having the buildings just sit there, but not a good solution.

What do office workers do?
A lot of work has shifted to using the computer as the complete office tool. I still use sketchbooks, but right now my office space fits in my backpack so it doesn't matter where the location is.

The power of having a company involved with these spaces means that they can afford to create it on a large/proper scale. Good ideas get buried because of no financing. If directed in the right way, it could be open to others as well, but i'm also afraid of having fenced in areas only for company members. In any case, I'd like to try one for a test on a small scale at first and then see where it could go from there.

’working park’ is a good term and can mean so many things depending on how you see `work´. Artists creating outdoors, people accessing technology, people networking, collaborating, gardening (agriculture), creating new jobs, places to eat, things to see...
